A number of politicians, parliamentarians and experts in Egypt affirmed that the talks of the Qatari-Egyptian summit held on Wednesday by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani with his brother, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, will open the door to strengthening and launching bilateral relations towards broader horizons in various fields, as well as intensify the efforts of the two countries to serve Arab issues and promote joint Arab action to face the current challenges.
Politicians and parliamentarians said, in statements to Qatar News Agency (QNA), that President El-Sisi's visit reflects the development and momentum that Qatari-Egyptian relations have gained, as well as the mutual desire of the leaderships of the two countries to deepen bilateral relations at all levels for the benefit of the two brotherly countries and peoples, in addition to supporting Arab solidarity and activating joint Arab action to preserve the security and stability of the region.
For his part, Ambassador Mounir Zahran, Chairman of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, stressed that the discussions of the Qatari-Egyptian summit that took place between His Highness the Amir and Egyptian president come within the framework of strengthening Arab unity and reunification as it is one of the necessary steps to protect Arab national security and support Arab solidarity, as well as intensifying efforts to serve Arab issues and resolve any disputes that may arise, which will benefit the stability of all Arab countries, the region and the world.
He noted the visit of the Amir to Egypt last June, which yielded positive and fruitful results, adding that President El-Sisi's visit Qatar will achieve a strong impetus for bilateral relations in all fields.

In this regard, he welcomed the strengthening of relations in investment and the interest of Qatari businessmen and investors in the Egyptian market, noting the positive atmosphere that prevailed today at the Qatari-Egyptian businessmen forum.
