The Ministry of Municipality, represented by the Department of Agricultural Affairs, yesterday held a field visit for date farm owners about the optimal use of dates drying rooms, storage and sterilisation. According to an official statement, the event at Farm No. 543 at Rawdat Rashid, aimed to raise awareness, educate and guide farm owners on how to use date drying rooms. Representatives of 34 farms, engineers and experts participated in the programme, where they reviewed the best ways to use drying and storage rooms for the post-harvest period of dates. The event was highly praised by farm owners, especially as this process contributes to solving the biggest challenge facing dates production.
