The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has reported in its weekly Covid-19 report, for the September 5 to 11 period, a daily average of 660 cases-610 in the community and 50 among travellers. Also, data available on the ministry’s website on Monday showed that 930 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, including 853 cases in the community and 77 among travellers. Following are the highlights of the weekly report published by the ministry Monday for the September 5 to 11 period:

-Total number of infected people since the start of the pandemic: 436,820

- Daily average of recoveries for the last seven days: 904
- Total number of recoveries until now: 408,231

-Number of deaths in the last seven days: 1
-Total number of deaths until now: 682

* Vaccination
-Daily average Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in the last seven days: 3,248
-Total number of booster doses administered to date: 1,867,643
-Total number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered since the start of vaccination campaign: 7,439,490

* Covid-19 testing
-Daily average number of tests for the last seven days: 14,865
-Total number of people tested to date: 3,904,273
- Number of people tested in the last 24 hours: 18,166
- Number of people tested for the first time in the last 24 hours: 2,780

* Hospital acute care
-Daily average of acute hospital admissions for the last seven days: 20
-Total number of people currently under acute hospital care: 89
