Qatar men’s team claimed the bronze medal on the final day of the West Asian U-20 Fencing Championship, which concluded in Jordan yesterday. The team comprised of Jaber al-Fadaaq, Meshaal al-Qahtani, Mohamed al-Oulan and Mohamed al-Hazaa secured epee bronze to bring Qatar’s medal tally to seven (two gold, two silver and three bronze). The championship saw the participation of 150 male and female fencers representing 11 countries – Qatar, Palestine, Oman, Kuwait, Syria, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iraq, Lebanon and hosts Jordan.
