The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced that it will grant a Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa for Hayya Card holders who will be attending the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

According to the UAE government media office, Hayya Card holders can enter and stay in the UAE for 90 days from the date of visa issuance. The visa can be extended for an additional 90 days.

Hayya Card holders will be allowed multiple entries during the visa's validity. Besides, they can avail of a reduced one-time visa fee of AED 100.

The visa application starts on November 1 through www.icp.gov.ae. Applicants have to choose the 'Smart Channels' link, then choose 'Public Services' from the main menu. After this, they have to select 'Hayya Card Holders' Visa from 'Public Services', and fill up the application form.

Citizens of visa-exempt countries are excluded from this offer, as they can enter and reside in the UAE according to the existing procedures.

Saudi Arabia had recently announced that it will welcome all Hayya Card holders and approve their entry into the kingdom 10 days before the start of the World Cup.

A statement by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said holders of the Hayya Card will obtain a multiple-entry visa valid for 60 days. It also said entering Qatar prior to visiting Saudi Arabia is not required, but that visitors need to have a medical insurance policy in place before arriving in Saudi Arabia.

Further details will be provided.
