The future of education in Qatar – and how it will equip the nation’s youth for the jobs of tomorrow will be discussed in the latest edition of Qatar Foundation’s (QF) Education City Speaker Series Bel Arabi, as the platform for dialogue welcomes HE Buthaina bint Ali al-Jabr al-Nuaimi, Minister of Education and Higher Education.
The third edition of Bel Arabi – which will be held in Arabic, with Arabic sign language available – takes place in the Special Events Area at Qatar National Library from 4-5pm on September 5. It will also be streamed live on QF social media channels. Held in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the event titled 'Investing in the Future: How Qatar is Shaping Leaders Through Education' will see al-Nuaimi speak about Qatar’s e-learning strategy, reflecting and reaffirming national identity through education, and ensuring the country’s education ecosystem prepares Qatar’s students for successful careers by nurturing the skills the market needs.
With each edition focusing on global trends and topics – which have previously ranged from the Covid-19 pandemic, youth empowerment, and sustainability to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and the Israeli occupation of Palestine – QF’s Education City Speaker Series provides an opportunity for audiences to hear from and interact with experts and thought-leaders from Qatar, the region, and around the world.
