A free medical camp was organised by the Reyada Medical Centre in association with Aligarh Muslim University Alumni Association Qatar (AMUAAQ) recently as part of the celebrations for the 75th Year of India’s Independence. The camp was inaugurated by Indian ambassador Dr Deepak Mittal.
More than 100 expatriates benefited from the medical services which included a wide range of blood tests to detect lifestyle diseases like hypertension, diabetes, kidney and liver function. The participants also underwent an ECG, a vision test and consulted with specialist doctors after they received their blood reports.
An AMU-Reyada Med Card was also unveiled on the occasion. AMUAAQ officials Jawed Ahmad, Dr Nadeem Jilani, Dr Sikandar Iftab, Jamsheer Hamza and Reyada Healthcare managing director Jamsheer Hamza were among those present.
