The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) is preparing to launch the sixth edition of the International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition (S'hail 2022), from September 5 to 10, with the participation of more than 170 companies representing 16 Arab and foreign countries.
Vice Chairman of the organising committee of the exhibition, Mohamed bin Abdul Latif al-Misnad, said: "we are nearing the completion of the plan for the sixth edition of the Katara's International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition, which has become an important date for falconers and hunting enthusiasts, not only at the local and regional level, but also globally".

He explained that the new version of the exhibition is characterised by an increase in its area by an estimated 20%, with the site of the exhibition divided into three halls: the tent, in which falconry supplies are displayed, in addition to the S'hail Auction of the rarest falcon bird species, and a hall for weapons companies and their various exhibits, while the third hall will be dedicated to falcon bird farms, car equipment companies and falconry trips. The public will have a date for the first time with the (hybrid) hatchery auction.
Regarding the competitions, he said that the public will be involved in the competitions of the most beautiful pavilion and the most beautiful hood, in addition to a new competition for trips' cooking, which is dedicated to the falconry lovers and which details will be announced later, in addition to the restaurant S'hail, which serve dishes related to hunting and falconry environment.
Al-Misnad explained that this year's edition will not only be confined to providing everything related to hunting and falconry, supporting the economic movement and the marketing process in this field, but also enriching the cultural and artistic scene, to be a mainstay to revive our authentic heritage, through various cultural and artistic events, including live painting with the participation of distinguished artists who will draw directly in front of the public paintings inspired by the atmosphere of the exhibition, in addition to poetry seminars and scientific lectures specialised in the field of falconry and hatching.
Al-Misnad pointed out that work has been done to develop the S'hail application to provide companies with the opportunity to open a virtual store on the application and display their products and all information about them, which will have a great impact on promotion and marketing.
The fifth edition of the exhibition (S'hail) registered the participation of 160 international companies from 19 countries, and achieved a high percentage of sales.
