Widam Food Company has signed a QR100mn agreement to supply beef to Egyptian company Frigo.
The company said in a statement that it sent two meat shipments to Egypt in March and July.
The agreement to supply frozen beef was signed by AlNoubay Salem al-Marri, CEO of Widam, and Mustafa Hussein Abdel Fattah, CEO of  Frigo Trading Company, in the presence of Mohamed al-Sadah, chairman, Widam Food Company, in Doha.
Widam Food said the agreement is in line with its strategy to expand its foreign trade activity, supplying meat to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman and Jordan.
Widam Food Company was established in 2004 and was listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange in the same year, with an authorised capital of QR180mn
