Ooredoo has announced that Samsung’s Galaxy Z series, comprising the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4, is now available for pre-order for customers across Qatar until August 25.
Equipped with upgraded camera experiences, a larger battery and expanded customisation, the Galaxy Z series is designed to offer unique experiences not available on any other smartphone, aided by immersive displays and PC-like multitasking features, a statement said.

The Galaxy Z Flip4 builds on the success of Samsung’s iconic form factor, adding key features. The compact clamshell design offers unique experiences. Shoot hands-free video or capture full group selfies at various angles by partially folding Galaxy Z Flip4 to activate FlexCam. These can even be enjoyed on users’ favourite apps.
On account of Samsung’s partnership with Meta, FlexCam is optimised for the most popular social platforms, including Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook. Users can start high-quality video recording in Quick Shot mode and then seamlessly switch to Flex mode to continue recording hands-free without stopping the video – ideal for content creators and vloggers.
With an upgraded camera equipped with a 65% brighter sensor powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform, photos and videos are crisper and more stable – day or night. Galaxy Z Flip4 can capture, watch and connect longer between charges with the expanded 3,700mAh battery . With Super-Fast Charging, now supported on Z Flip4, charge up to 50% in around 30 minutes. Z Flip4 is also equipped with IPX8 water resistance.
The Galaxy Z Fold4 combines Samsung’s collective mobile technology expertise to create a device with increased functionality whether opened, closed, or in Flex mode. It is the first device to ship with Android 12L, a special version of Android created by Google for large-screen experiences, including foldables.
The new Taskbar provides a layout similar to a PC, offering access to favourite and recent apps. Multitasking is also more intuitive, thanks to new swipe gestures. The S Pen functionality, enables on-the-go drawing and notetaking with streamlined storage inside the standing cover with Pen case. Games are snappier too thanks to the powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform and hyper-fast 5G.
Galaxy Z Fold4 has an upgraded 50MP wide lens and 30x Space Zoom lens. And with the larger pixel size, a 23% brighter sensor and enhanced processing power, users can capture clear images even at night.
Ooredoo customers who pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 256GB model will automatically be upgraded to the 512GB model, paying QR6,849 instead of QR7,299. Customers who pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Flip 4 256GB model will also automatically be upgraded to the 512GB model, paying QR3,849. Both options save customers QR450. Customers who are Nojoom members will also get double Nojoom Points on every purchase.
While Galaxy Z Flip4 comes in Bora Purple, Graphite, Pink Gold and Blue, the Galaxy Z Fold4 is available in Gray Green, Beige and Phantom Black.
