Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company will be the platinum sponsor of the ‘Qatar Economic & Commercial Activity Guide’, Qatar Chamber announced on Tuesday.
This came after both parties signed a sponsorship agreement at a ceremony held in Doha.
Qatar Chamber Public Relations Department acting director Ahmed Abu Nahya and Qatari Diar director of CEO Office and Public Relations Department Ahmed Mohamed al-Sada signed the agreement in the presence of the director of public relations and corporate events, Abdulla Abdelhadi al-Fuhaid.
The guide will be issued by the chamber, coinciding with the staging of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which is expected to attract hundreds of thousands of visitors and fans to the global tournament that would be held for the first time ever in the region.
The guide aims to highlight the comprehensive renaissance witnessed by Qatar and promote the Qatari economy and the country’s investment climate, as well as to shed light on commercial and industrial activities in its various sectors. It will further highlight Qatar’s attractive investment environment and consolidates its position as an international business and investment hub.
Slated to be issued in October, the guide covers all commercial and economic activities in the country and provides all data about doing business in Qatar, as well as the incentives offered by the State to investors.
It is available in Arabic and English languages and will be distributed to ministries, embassies, diplomatic missions to Qatar, and Qatar’s embassies abroad, as well as to local and international fairs and forums. Also, the guide will be available on the chamber’s website to provide easy access for investors and businessmen.
