The Qatar University (QU) Alumni Association has constituted a new board of directors under the chairmanship of HE the Minister of Environment and Climate Change Sheikh Dr Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali al-Thani.
The members are Khalifa Jassim al-Kuwari (as vice-chairman and head of the finance committee), Fatima Sultan al-Kuwari (secretary and head of the branches committee), Sabah al-Haydous (head of the professional committee), and Aisha al-Mudahka (head of the marketing committee).
QU president Dr Hassan Rashid al-Derham honoured the outgoing board, which was headed by HE Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada and comprised Abdullah Hamid al-Mulla, Dr Sultan bin Hassan al-Dosari, Jassim al-Nama, Hassan al-Saei, and Hassan al-Baker.
The mission of the QU Alumni Association is to be a pioneer in the region in the field of alumni relations, and enable QU graduates to establish sustainable relations with their alma mater, through various programmes and events.
