Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaqoub met HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani at the government headquarters in Putrajaya Friday.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations, especially Qatari investments in Malaysia, food security and co-operation in education. The latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories were also discussed, in addition to reviewing developments in Ukraine and the Rohingya refugee crisis, as well as a number of international issues.
In this context, the Malaysian prime minister expressed his country's thanks to Qatar for its support for the Rohingya refugees in the health field, meanwhile, HE Sheikh Mohamed expressed Qatar's appreciation for Malaysia's pivotal efforts in providing assistance to them.
