Mowasalat (Karwa) signed a co-operation agreement with Qatar Charity (QC) to support the latter’s projects and benefit from its expertise in providing qualified volunteers. The agreement aims to establish a strategic partnership between the two parties, serve community and humanitarian works, and encourage voluntary work.
The agreement was signed by Mowasalat (Karwa) COO Ahmad Hassan al-Obaidly and QC CEO’s assistant for Programme and Community Development Sector Faisal Rashid AlFehaida.
The signing of the agreement is the culmination of many co-operation initiatives between Mowasalat (Karwa) and Qatar Charity over the past years, which marked the beginning of a new phase of increased collaboration.
On this occasion, Mowasalat (Karwa) CEO Fahad Saad al-Qahtani said: “This co-operation will be very beneficial for a number of joint initiatives to serve the community. We highly value Qatar Charity expertise in selecting the best volunteers to form a work team for supporting Mowasalat (Karwa) during the upcoming mega sports events in the country. We will join forces to maintain and build on Qatar’s welcoming image worldwide.”
QC CEO Yousef bin Ahmed al-Kuwari expressed his delight with the agreement signed with Mowasalat (Karwa), noting that this agreement is an extension of the continuous co-operation between the two parties. He also hoped that this agreement would deepen co-operation in the future.
This co-operation is in line with QC's interests in spreading the culture of voluntary work and involve community members in community services in particular, and humanitarian work in general.
