Al Rayyan Municipality launched on Thursday the activities of the summer festival 2022 at the Mall of Qatar, which will run until August 6.
The festival is organised by Al Rayyan Municipality in co-operation with the Mall of Qatar, and the opening ceremony was attended by the Director of the Municipality Jabir Hassan al-Jabir, alongside a number of municipality officials.
The first day activities focused on instructing children on the health conditions that should be applied to food products, where some children and their parents were accompanied to visit a restaurant to see the proper ways of preparing meals. Besides, there were a number of entertainment activities, quizzes and competitions, and the winning children were given prizes. Further, children were trained on the proper practices of shopping for healthy food products. The festival will continue organising a variety of activities and theatrical performances on related topics with the participation of different departments at the Ministry of Municipality.
