With the rain that took place recently in the country, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) has warned land-goers not to enter the gardens and plant areas by car except through paved roads, in order to preserve the environment of Qatar.

The ministry in a series of tweets also calls on herd owners not to graze their herds for 20 days, in order to preserve Qatar's environment and to allow plants and shrubs to grow and reproduce.
The ministry noted that the law punishes with imprisonment and a fine anyone who causes damage to the plant environment and its components and calls on the public to enjoy Qatar’s environment while preserving it by using paved roads and not tampering with soil and plants.
