HE the Adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Majed bin Mohamed al-Ansari, met Monday via videoconferencing with the UK Government Spokesperson to the Middle East and North Africa, Rosie Dyas.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations, ways to enhance co-operation in the media and the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, and the latest regional developments. Dr al-Ansari stressed that Qatar welcomes the British fans in the World Cup, noting the State's readiness to organise a unique and safe tournament. He pointed out that the tournament will reflect the region's legacy, considering that Qatar's hosting of the championship means that it is for all Arabs.
