The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has reported in its weekly Covid-19 report, for the July 18-24 period, a daily average of 1,014 cases — 872 cases in the community and 142 among travellers.
This marked an increase in Covid-19 cases over the previous week, when the MoPH recorded 990 daily average cases in the country. Also, data available on the ministry’s website Monday showed that 1,114 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, including 934 cases in the community and 180 among travellers.
Following are the highlights of the weekly report published by the ministry Monday for the July 18-24 period:

-Daily average Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in the last seven days: 3,186
-Total number of booster doses administered to date: 1,816,338
-Total number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered since the start of vaccination campaign: 7,302,701

* Covid-19 testing
-Daily average number of tests for the last seven days: 20,522
-Total number of people tested to date: 3,729,256

* Hospital acute care
-Daily average of acute hospital admissions for the last seven days: 26
-Total number of people currently under acute hospital care: 122

* Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

-Daily average number of ICU admissions in the last seven days: 3
-Total number of people currently in ICU: 3
