* 1,293 cases registered in last 24 hours
 
The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has reported in its weekly Covid-19 report, for the July 11-17 period, a daily average of 990 cases - 857 cases in the community and 133 among travellers.
This marked an increase in Covid-19 cases over the previous week, when the MoPH recorded 608 cases in the country.



Data available on the ministry's website on Monday also showed that 1,293 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, including 1,094 cases in the community and 199 among travellers.
Following are the highlights of the weekly report published by the ministry Monday for the July 11-17 period:

* Covid-19 cases
- Daily average cases among community: 857
- Daily average cases among travellers: 133
- Total number of current active cases: 7,595
- Total number of infected people since the start of the pandemic: 396,344

* Recoveries
- Daily average of recoveries for the last seven days: 608
- Total number of recoveries until now: 388,069

* Deaths
- Number of deaths in the last seven days: 0
- Total number of deaths until now: 680

* Vaccination
- Daily average Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in the last seven days: 1,646
- Total number of booster doses administered to date: 1,803,198
- Total number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered since the start of vaccination campaign: 7,280,398

* Covid-19 testing
- Daily average number of tests for the last seven days: 18,530
- Total number of people tested to date: 3,705,011

* Hospital acute care
- Daily average of acute hospital admissions for the last seven days: 29
- Total number of people currently under acute hospital care: 106

* Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Daily average number of ICU admissions in the last seven days: 7
- Total number of people currently in ICU: 6
