His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani sent a written message to Portuguese President Dr Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, pertaining to bilateral relations and ways to enhance and develop them.
Qatar's ambassador in Lisbon Saad bin Ali al-Mohannadi handed over the message, during his meeting with the diplomatic adviser to the President of Portugal, Maria Amelia Paiva.
