Karnataka Sangha Qatar (KSQ) honoured the outgoing principal of Ideal Indian School, Syed Shoukath Ali, during a farewell ceremony organised by the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC).

Ali, a native of Bengaluru, Karnataka, during his tenure of 10 years in Qatar, supported the Kannada-speaking community. KSQ appreciated his contributions to supporting and developing Kannada as a language in the school.

Indian embassy first secretary Sachin Dinkar Shankpal, principals from various Indian schools in Qatar, ICC president P N Baburajan, vice-president Subramanya Hebbagelu, general secretary Krishna Kumar, advisory committee member Prasad and KSQ president Mahesh Gowda were present.
