Düsseldorf will become the fourth German destination served by Qatar's national carrier
 
 
 
 
 
Qatar Airways will commence daily flights from November 15 to Düsseldorf, the fourth German destination served by the national carrier. The service will be operated by a modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner with 22 business class seats and 232 in economy.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, HE Akbar al-Baker said: "We have been flying to Germany since 1998 and the launch of the new service to Düsseldorf marks a milestone in our history. Düsseldorf, the gateway to the Ruhr region, enjoys an enviable reputation as one of the world's most liveable cities. The city is located close to Belgium and the Netherlands and is known worldwide as an international business and trade centre with famous fashion and trade fairs."
Qatar Airways also recently increased its flights from Frankfurt: Since July 1, the award-winning airline connects Frankfurt and Hamad International Airport (HIA) three times per day. Furthermore, the airline will increase its flights to Berlin to 11 weekly as of October 2.
With flight connections to more than 85 destinations in the Asia-Pacific region, Africa and the Middle East, passengers can travel to and from Düsseldorf to destinations such as Tokyo, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, the Maldives and Seychelles.
The new route to Düsseldorf launches just in time for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which kicks off on November 21. Football fans from Germany can enjoy a comfortable travel option to the largest sports event of the world.
