Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced the operating hours of its services during the Eid al-Adha holiday.
The services and their timings are as follows:
* The Trauma and Emergency Centre continues to operate throughout the 24-hour holiday period as normal.
* The Paediatric Emergency Centres will also remain open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for medical emergencies involving children under the age of 14 years.
* The Ambulance Service will continue to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for people requiring emergency medical assistance
* The HMC Contact Centre will continue to work normal operating hours during the Eid holiday, from 7am to 10pm.
* Outpatient clinics will be closed from July 10 to 14 and reopen on July 17.
* The Urgent Consultation Service will be closed from July 10 to 14 and reopen on July 17.
* The National Mental Health Helpline will be closed from July 10 to 14. On July 13 and 14, however, this will be available from 7am to 3pm
* The Pharmacy Home Delivery Service will be closed from July 10 to 14 and will reopen on July 17.
* HMC's Blood Donor Centres will be closed on July 9 and 10. Both centres will reopen on July 11 with the following operating hours:
1. Bayt Al Diyafah (in Hamad Bin Khalifa Medical City for male blood donors) - Tuesday to Thursday, 10am to 5pm; Saturday, 8am to 2pm; Sunday and Monday, 10am to 5pm; Friday closed.
2. New Blood Donor Centre (next to Surgical Specialty Centre for female donors) - Monday to Thursday 8am to 8pm; Friday and Saturday closed; Sunday and Monday, 8am to 8pm
Mobile Blood Donor Units will be visiting the following locations: July 11 - the Corniche, 4pm to 8pm; and July 13 - Aspire Park, 4pm to 8pm.
