HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah participated in a ceremony to raise Qatar's flag over 'Sheraoh' patrol boat (Q62), at Fincantieri's shipyard La Spezia in Italy.
The ceremony witnessed the signing of receiving the ship by Qatar Amiri Naval Forces.
Italian Defence Minister Lorenzo Guerini and ranking Fincantieri executives attended the ceremony.
The ceremony was also attended by Qatar's ambassador to Italy Khalid bin Yousef al-Sada, HE the Commander of the Amiri Naval Forces Major General (Navy) Abdullah bin Hassan al-Sulaiti, head of the projects office at the Ministry of Defence Major General Hassan bin Rashid al-Ali, Defence Attache Major General (Navy) Hilal bin Ali al-Mohannadi, and a number of ranking officers at the Qatari Armed Forces.
