Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defence Studies celebrated the delivery of certificates for the National Defense Course (2) and the Joint Command and Staff Course (8) at the Academy's headquarters. The ceremony was held under the patronage of HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah, and in the presence of HE the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Salem bin Hamad al-Nabit, HE the Academy's Commander Staff Major General Fahd bin Mubarak al-Khayareen, and a number of senior commanders officers in the armed forces and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the State.
A number of senior and middle ranks from various units of the Qatari armed forces and senior officials in the ministries, institutions and security services in the country participated in the two sessions, in addition to a number of officers from brotherly and friendly countries. At the end of the ceremony, HE the Chief of Staff handed over certificates to the graduates.
