Fifty One East, in collaboration with L’Oreal Academie Qatar, organised a special L’Oreal Professionnel Paris Masterclass on June 21, led by Nicolas Hallak and in the presence of Pascal Amseyan, regional education manager, and Elie Saide, national education manager.
The masterclass at Mondrian Doha was attended by more than 250 hair experts from top salons in Qatar and aimed to introduce the French Balayage Shadow, a new twist of French Balayage by L’Oreal Professionnel Paris.
The French Balayage Shadow "embraces a professional two-step technique enabling ladies to achieve more dramatic contrast between hair roots and lengths. The first step is a perfectly blended lightening technique based on Blond Studio 9, lifting to nine levels, with a fast take-off and enriched with an oil-based technology that improves hair cosmetics. The second step is the nourishing gloss with Dia light to neutralise undertones after lightening, and restore the beauty of bleached hair, making it 30% more nourished", a press statement explained.
Attendees of the masterclass expressed their happiness for being able to participate in this "immersive and rich" experience with Hallak, a well-known hairdresser with more than 20 years of experience, who is dubbed the 'King of Balayage' and was chosen by L’Oreal Professionnel Paris to be their regional ambassador.
This is one of many educational initiatives that reflect Fifty One East's commitment to supporting the community by inviting some of the best international experts who can help local talents master L'Oreal's exceptional techniques and discover the latest trends in the world of haircare, the statement pointed out.
This masterclass is also a testament to the long-standing relationship between Fifty One East and L’Oreal, which extends to more than 65 years and is built on common values and shared objectives, emphasising the position of Fifty One East as the home of the biggest international beauty brands, and L’Oreal Professionnel Paris as the leader in innovation and new techniques of hair colouration.
