The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary closure on Umm Slal North Road in one direction from Jassim bin Mohammed al-Thani Street towards Mohammed Bin Jassim al-Thani Street from 1am on Friday. The closure, to be implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, has been announced in order to complete asphalt laying as part of the road improvement project in Al Shamal Municipality.
During the closure, road users coming from Jassim bin Mohammed al-Thani Street or from the service road of Al Shamal Road, can continue on Jassim bin Mohammed al-Thani Street, then turn right towards Street 620 to reach Mohammed bin Jassim al-Thani Street.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and has requested all to follow these and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
