Participants in the initiative will have the opportunity to apply within three categories that include government and private entities, schools, universities, kindergartens, and municipalities. The winners of the first three places for schools and kindergartens for each of the following age groups (kindergarten, primary, preparatory, secondary, combined schools) will receive financial rewards.

The winning universities in the first three places will receive financial rewards of QR60,000, QR50,000 and QR40,000. Citizens and residents can participate by decorating their homes and pictures of their participation will be displayed in designated platforms with electronic certificates. The pictures and participation will be documented as legacy for this event. The government and private entities, and municipalities will be honored with certificates and memorial shields.

The registration will be through two steps: the first step is the pre-implementation stage where the participant will be able to submit decoration proposals in a descriptive manner illustrated by pictures. After ensuring there are no violations of the requirements, the contestant will be contacted to start the implementation. The final submission of photos of the project after implementation will be evaluated by the jury members.
Ideas will be received from July 1 to August 31, followed by receiving the final photo after implementation in the period from September 1 to October 31.
