The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the two attacks that targeted a mosque in Kunduz Province in northeastern Afghanistan and a temple in Kabul, which led to deaths and injuries.
In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons. It also stressed Qatar's total rejection of targeting places of worship and intimidating civilians.
The Ministry expressed Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, and the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
