The campaign is being carried out by the joint committee to remove abandoned vehicles and equipment in co-operation with the Mechanical Equipment Department, the General Cleanliness Department and the Municipality of Al Wakra alongside the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya).
The campaign, launched on Sunday, is set to go on until June 25 as part of the Ministry of Municipality's continuous efforts to remove all abandoned vehicles while enforcing the stipulations of the Public Hygiene Law no 18 for 2017.
Zaid Ibrahim al-Bahih, head of the general control department at Al Wakra Municipality, urged the public to co-operate with the entities concerned in this regard and help in disposing off their abandoned vehicles to avoid any potential legal liabilities.
