The MIE-SPPU Institute of Higher Education organised a clean-up event at Al Wakra beach on Thursday, ahead of the World Environment Day, which was celebrated on June 5.
MIE-SPPU Institute president Hassan Chougule initiated the campaign, which saw the participation of all students and teachers.
The beach clean-up event was led by faculty-in-charge Dr Manishkumar Varma and Reshma Ravindran, supervised by director Dr Bimalendu B Nath, and co-ordinated by administrator Dinesh Bakshi.
