Mohamed Hassan al-Obaidly, Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Labour, recently inaugurated Grand Mall hypermarket in Mekaines.
This is Grand Mall's sixth hypermarket in Qatar and the 80th outlet worldwide.
Al-Obaidly was the chief guest on the occasion. The inauguration was held in the presence of the group’s chairman, Shamsuddin.
Speaking at the event, al-Obaidly wished Grand Mall team every success for the store.
Managing director Dr Ameen said: “The launch of this outlet in Mekaines is the result of the diligent work of our team. Grand Mall Mekaines will serve citizens and residents in this part of Qatar and the attraction for shoppers will be a wide range of products at competitive prices."
Dr Ameen stressed that Grand Mall would "strive hard to provide the best service to customers" and aims to continue to expand to "serve more and more customers in the Qatar region".
Grand Mall regional director Ashraf Cherakkal added, “One feature of Grand Mall’s newest outlet is that it gives local entrepreneurs, manufacturers and producers one more sprawling retail space to display and market their products to consumers in Qatar. This outlet will give a big boost to local businesses as well as regional and international brands.”
Shoppers can easily access the group’s sixth outlet, conveniently located across 55,000sqft in Mekaines, Exit 37 Salwa Expressway that heads to Abu Samra, with ample parking facilities.
