Department of Meteorology warns of strong wind, dust Sunday

The Department of Meteorology said in its weather report for Sunday until 6pm that there will be blowing dust at places at times inshore, warning of strong wind and poor visibility at places at times.

Offshore will be slightly dusty at times, the report added, warning of strong wind and high sea.

Wind inshore will be northwesterly at 17 to 27 knot which can gust to 38 knot at places at times.

Offshore, it will be northwesterly at 20 to 30 knot gusting to 35 knot at places at times.

Visibility will be 4 to 8/2km or less at places.

Sea state inshore will be 3 to 5 feet at times. Offshore it will be 6 to 10 feet, rising to 12 knot at places at times.
