Vodafone Qatar recently took part in the first-ever Qatar Foundation (QF) Alumni Reunion and Career Fair, to provide job opportunities to the alumni of QF, as well as present to the guests and share insights on youth development and the different career opportunities provided at Vodafone Qatar.
The two-day event was held on May 15-16, and attended by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of QF, and HE Sheikha Hind bint Hamad al-Thani, Vice-Chairperson and CEO of QF. It featured various career opportunities, meetings with mentors, key speakers and open discussions.
Chief Human Resources officer at Vodafone Qatar, Khames Mohamed al-Naimi, was invited as a mentor to the event and offered his knowledge and experience to the alumni.
Al-Naimi said, “It was a great pleasure to be a part of this event and to work with the students, by helping to enable them to explore all the different opportunities available to them, by leveraging their skills to take the next step in their careers.”
Vodafone Qatar is "committed to developing the talents of the Qatari youth by providing them with essential knowledge and skills to help them build their careers in the telecommunications sector, so that they become a part of a growing pool of talent whose influence will be crucial to the future digital aspirations of Qatar", a press statement noted.
