The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation (Alecso) honoured HE Dr Hamda bint Hassan al-Sulaiti, the Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council and former vice-president of the Alecso Executive Council, during the organisation's general conference which was held in Tunisia Saturday. She was also honoured at the Executive Council's meeting held last Wednesday. HE Dr al-Sulaiti expressed her thanks and appreciation to the organisation for the honour, praising the organisation's important role in promoting culture, coexistence and constructive dialogue, and developing the components of the educational and scientific system in the Arab world.
