The Ministry of Municipality, represented by the Departments of Public Hygiene and General Control in Doha Municipality, has started a extensive campaign to clean the Industrial Area.
The campaign kicked off in the presence of Moqbel al-Shammari, Director of the Department of Public Hygiene, Mohamed al-Kubaisi, Assistant Director of the department and Hamad Sultan al-Shahwani, Head of Public Control Department in Doha Municipality, according to an official statement.
Twenty-five observers and inspectors from the two departments participated in the campaign to arrest violators and release violation reports. The campaign will last for a month and field teams will intensify efforts to maintain public hygiene and safety while protecting the environment and the general view of the area, the statement added.
The ministry has urged the public to co-operate and adhere to public hygiene.
