The Place Vendome management on Saturday said that it is working closely with the authorities in the investigation of the incident where a child was injured on its premises.

In a statement released on social media, the management stressed its commitment to providing safe environment with the highest international standards. The safety and security of the visitors is of utmost importance and the mall's operation is in compliance with the relevant authorities' approvals, the statement added.

It is not clear how the accident occurred in which a child reportedly fell from the third floor of the mall during the weekend.
