The 18th Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition (DJWE) concluded Saturday after attracting a large number of jewellery and watch enthusiasts over the past six days.
The event was held at Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.
Among the key attractions were renowned jewellery and luxury houses presenting their collections at the Alfardan Jewellery, Fifty One East and other pavilions.
Almost 70 renowned luxury brands joined the Alfardan pavilion at DJWE, with famous international brands and jewellery connoisseurs from around the globe bringing rare and large stones – both in value and uniqueness – to the exhibition.
The Alfardan pavilion also put a spotlight on Al Tawash – featuring exquisite unique pieces designed exclusively for the DJWE by Alfardan Group chairman Hussain Alfardan.
Brands at the Fifty One East pavilion also saw a huge response from DJWE visitors.
The Qatari Designers initiative was reignited at DJWE this year, celebrating local talent and designs. The initiative supports up-and-coming designers.
Throughout the duration of the exhibition, the DJWE lounge was home to open sessions relating to everything from the creative process of jewellery formation to consumer savviness when it comes to buying diamonds and precious stones
