Katara – the Cultural Village general manager Prof Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti announced Friday that all Katara events, festivals and exhibitions have been suspended in mourning of the death of the late UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
"We apologize to the honorable #كتارا visitors for canceling all events, festivals and exhibitions, to mourn the death of the late His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, and we ask God to bless him with his mercy."
HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani announced on Friday three days of mourning in Qatar and the flags to be lowered to half-mast.
