Qatar resident Shameer Valiyaveettil was elected CEO of youth organisation Focus International's first global committee, a statement said. Two other Qatar residents - Askar Rahman and Thajudheen Mullaveedan are directors of events and marketing, respectively. Founded in Qatar in 2005, the forum is now active in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, India, Oman and the UAE.
