The member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Hussein Al Sheikh said that they rejected an Israeli request for a joint investigation regarding the assassination of journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.
"Israel has requested a joint investigation and to be handed over the bullet that assassinated the journalist Shireen, we refused that, and we affirmed that our investigation would be completed independently," Al Sheikh said in a post on Twitter.
"We will inform her family, USA, Qatar and all official authorities and the public of the results of the investigation with high transparency," he added The member of the Executive Committee confirmed that all witnesses, indicators and evidence confirm the assassination of Shireen Abu Akleh by the Israeli private units.
