The Regional Network for Social Responsibility has presented HE the Minister of Social Development and Family Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser al-Misnad with the GCC Humanitarian Work Award.
The award has been presented during the Gulf Humanitarian Work Summit 2022, currently in session in Kuwait.
The award was received by Qatar's ambassador to Kuwait Ali bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud in recognition of HE al-Misnad's effective role in human development and the promotion of community building, as well as empowering people and humanitarian agencies, contributing to awareness and strengthening the role of institutions.
The GCC Humanitarian Work Award is the first specialised award in the field of governmental and official humanitarian work. It aims to honour the leading government humanitarian projects in the GCC countries, highlight the Gulf charitable projects, contribute to increasing bonds between the GCC countries, and introduce the successful stories of owners of humanitarian initiatives in the GCC countries.
Founded in 2007, the Regional Network for Social Responsibility is an international, non-profit professional organisation that aims to raise awareness about the social responsibility of companies and institutions, and to strengthen social responsibility in the government, civil and private sectors.
