Doha’s social scene will be brightened this month with a dazzling performance of Cinderella by The Doha Players.
The pantomime will be held at THIS Theatre at Hamilton International School for nine exclusive shows.
In only their second production after an almost two-year Covid-enforced hiatus, The Doha Players have chosen Cinderella, a family musical comedy, to remind everyone of the fun and joy of live theatre.
“The classic story with a modern twist will feature the characters we know and love (or not) in gentle Cinderella, Prince Charming, the meanest ugly sisters in the land and their wicked stepmother, alongside new arrivals Elvis Sequins and others,” a press statement noted.
“The pantomime showcases the best of Doha’s strong amateur acting and musical theatre talent, performing songs and dances that will have you rocking in the aisles,” it added.
There will be evening and matinee performances at THIS Theatre at Hamilton International School on these dates: May 19 – 6.30pm; May 20 – 1.30pm and 6.30pm; May 21 – 2.30pm; May 25 – 6.30pm; May 26 – 6.30pm; May 27 – 1.30pm and 6.30pm; and May 28 – 2.30pm.
