Corniche Street will be closed from May 3 to 5 to hold Eid al-Fitr events, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced. "Please pay attention to the closure of Corniche Street and the roads leading to it, from Ras Abu Aboud Intersection to Sheraton and from Sheraton to Port Intersection, for three days, from May 3 to 5, to hold Eid al-Fitr events," the MoI tweeted. Qatar Tourism is organising the Eid Festival on the Corniche from May 3 to 5, featuring a giant balloon parade, concerts, marching band, fireworks displays, carnival games and food stalls.
