A special assembly in conjunction with the Earth Day celebration was organised by DPS Modern Indian School's students of grade I and II, to bring about awareness on conservation and saving the planet. The assembly commenced with a prayer and was followed by a song by grade II-A. The students of grade I-A presented a skit highlighting the importance of Earth Day and the ways in which the planet can be protected. The children of grade II presented a dance. Principal Asna Nafees, vice-principal (Jr. School), Shifa Shaikh, and headmistress Sini Menon (I-V) were present.
