The Friend Cultural Centre (FCC), a Qatar Charity centre for community development for expatriates, has organised a spoken Arabic course for non-Arab staff of Naseem Healthcare. The course seeks to train doctors, nurses, and other medical staff, to communicate and interact with Arabic-speaking patients in a better manner. The course provides the participants with the fundamental medical terminologies and vocabularies that will help them understand the health issues and problems of the patients visiting Naseem Healthcare.
The instructors, Dr Abdul Vasih and Sharaf Adewale Najeem, who are experts in teaching Arabic to the non-native speakers, indicated that the course helps the participants to easily carry out their career tasks in the medical field and understand the patients to quickly provide them with appropriate services. Thelma Maria Simon, a learning and development corporate manager at Naseem Healthcare, expressed her joy in learning a new language that helps her communicate with her Arab colleagues and patients. She thanked Qatar Charity for providing them with a wonderful opportunity to learn the Arabic language, looking forward to the continuation of such courses in the future.
Sujamole T, head nurse of the Naseem Healthcare, C-Ring Road, described the course as a golden opportunity for the employees to learn how to communicate with patients in Arabic, and thanked Qatar Charity for its social works, including providing the opportunity to Naseem Healthcare staff to learn Arabic. Dilshad, an administration staff, expressed his delight in learning Arabic through the course that will help him understand Arabic-speaking patients and visitors and thanked Qatar Charity.
