The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a two-week temporary partial traffic closure from Tuesday at Doha Corniche Street. The closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to enable works to upgrade the Street.
During the closure, the left turn from Corniche Street to Mohammed Bin Thani Street will be closed. Road users should continue straight to Markhiya Street to make a U-turn to reach their destination. Left turn from Corniche Street to Al Rumelia Street and the U-turn at Dafna before Markhiya will be also closed. Road users should continue straight to Al Diwan Al-Amiri Intersection to make a U-turn to reach their destination.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
