Jaber al-Mutawa and Mohamed al-Khanji clinched the Category A title at the Al Kass Padel Tournament Ooredoo 2022, which concluded on Monday. In the final, al-Mutawa and al-Khanji beat Ali al-Sayegh and Issa Shanan.
Hamad al-Mohannadi and Jassem al-Ziyara won the category B title, while Abdulrahman al-Hammadi and Jassem al-Harmi won the category C title. Hamad al-Fahid and Mohamed al-Yafei won the category D title.
The prize distribution ceremony was attended by CEO of Qatar Media Corporation HE Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Thani al-Thani, Director of Al Kass Sports Channels Issa al-Hitmi, Chief Commercial Officer at Ooredoo Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Nasser al-Thani, Secretary-General of the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation Tariq Zainal.
Al Kass channel organised the tournament, in co-operation with Badel & More 1969, and the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation. As many as 120 teams were divided into different categories. The category A included eight teams, category B 24 teams, category C 40 teams, with category involving 48 teams.
