Vodafone Qatar joined the local community in celebration of Garangao, Ramadan’s highly-anticipated tradition for children.
Touring on an electric bus and in partnership with Tarsheed, Vodafone representatives stopped by Msheireb, Katara and Qatar Foundation (QF), and distributed candy to children and their families.
The partnership with Tarsheed came in line with its recently launched Ramadan brand campaign *Yes, We Can Renew and Rebuild.
Vodafone used the electric bus to promote sustainability amongst the local community and engage children at a young age to educate them and raise awareness about sustainable ways to save the planet.
The annual traditional celebration was put on hold for almost two years due to coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic precautionary measures.
However, with the ease of restrictions this year, Vodafone was upfront and close to the community, bringing happiness in-person to children around Qatar.
