The art and cultural exhibition by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) concluded yesterday after witnessing participation from various schools in Qatar. The event was organised by the Programmes and Activities Department of the Schools Affairs Department.
Ali Jassim al-Kuwari, director of the School Affairs Department, said that the exhibition included various activities while showcasing important professional tasks in schools. Fatima bint Youssef al-Obaidly, head of Programmes and Activities Department, said the objectives of the exhibition lent an opportunity for students to spread the great heritage and masterpieces of Islamic culture of Qatar while showcasing their talents. Schools presented various models of Islamic customs and displayed videos that highlighted the Islamic culture and heritage of Qatar. The exhibition focused on Qatari heritage and folklore.
